Boost Baltimore Program
The Boost program is a joint entrepreneurial development workshop between Innovation Works and Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship. IW Boost packs core business lessons into a powerful three-day workshop to support local, established nonprofit, for-profit, and hybrid social enterprise leaders. Twenty to thirty leaders will learn business fundamentals, improve their strategic thinking, and articulate a business plan that demonstrates impact, growth, and long-term financial sustainability. By the end of the workshop, participants have the strategies and materials to grow their enterprises in a financially sustainable manner and are poised to embark on additional funding and capacity building opportunities.
The mission of Innovation Works (IW) is to reduce Baltimore’s neighborhood and racial wealth divide by teaching and accompanying members of disinvested communities to build and own successful social enterprises that create sustainable neighborhood economies and result in better family living, more resilient communities, and a safer, more vibrant city.Innovation Works is an innovative, collaborative resource network that connects neighborhoods, entrepreneurs, social innovation assets, and investors to build sustainable neighborhood economies in Baltimore
