Graduate Student Award
The FastForward U Graduate Student Award (GSA) supports Johns Hopkins students aiming to solve major challenges through entrepreneurship.We have recognized that raising significant early stage funding can be difficult for graduate students, with no prior awards specifically tailored for the JHU Graduate Student community. To that end, FastForward U will be awarding four graduate student-led teams an award of $5,000 to help validate and scale their venture. In addition to the funding, each GSA recipient will receive mentorship from subject matter experts, serial entrepreneurs, and investors, as well as additional resources from FastForward U and Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.Size: $5,000 Length of Project: Two semesters Application Deadline: November 12, 2019 Eligibility: Johns Hopkins University graduate and post-doc students JHU Contact: Kevin Carter (email@example.com)

A collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment open to all Johns Hopkins students, FastForward U provides training and resources to empower emerging student entrepreneurs to develop ideas and disruptive technologies into successful startups.Serving freshmen to post-docs from all JHU schools, FastForward U offers student entrepreneurs mentorship, programming, space and funding.
FastForward U (FFU)
Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV) is the intellectual property administration center of the Johns Hopkins University. In addition to serving as the licensing, patent and technology commercialization office for Johns Hopkins researchers and inventors, JHTV also supports the growth of startup companies in and around the university and is an active liaison to parties interested in leveraging university research or materials for academic or corporate endeavors.
